NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm Heather Jordan
When I was 24, a young mum with a child about to start school, I realised that I had been working full-time for 8 years, just under a decade, my whole adult life at that point and had NOTHING to show for it other than debt and piles of unopened bills. The only thing I had a lot more of than bills, was lack.
I couldn't afford the things I wanted for my daughter, I couldn't even afford my car payment or rent. I was worried I couldn't put her in the school I chose or give her opportunities.
So, I put my pride in my pocket and went to see a debt/financial counsellor... and guess what?! You might not even believe it - but they told me they couldn't help me, because I didn't earn enough!
I went away from that meeting with so much disgust for 'the system' and so much disgust for the idea I had been taught that 'if you work hard, your dreams will come true'.
It's such a lie.
Hard work alone does not make your dreams come true. The things hard work alone got me was pain and further away from the life I wanted to be living.
I would love to tell you I had an epiphany and all my circumstances changed overnight.
It didn't happen that way for me.
But it can be easier for you, than it was for me.
I use everything I have learned from being a CPA (yep, if they weren't going to help me, I needed to help myself), 20+ years in finance, whilst being a single mum, to help women get Money Wi$e so you don't have to feel the pain of lack and not being able to provide for your family or live a life that excites you!
Follow this mission as I embark on showing you everything I have learned on how to grow your wealth, protect your family and live the life YOU dream of.
My Story
As long as I can remember I have loved family and my friends, loved playing and also loved finance.
As a young girl I used to write out bank deposit slips, make my own cheques and count the loose change left around the house. But I also imagined living a wall street concrete jungle kind of life, being a hairdresser, being a flight attendant, a fashion-designer, a lawyer and I also dreamed of being a marine biologist! I guess, like most people, I had many interests but, for me, not many of them seemed to meld together into a strong passion or neatly packaged career.
I've volunteered with homeless shelters, went to Africa to spend time with orphans, fostered children, volunteered with anti-human trafficking organisations and spent time in my community.
My daughter was born when I was 20. It didn't seem young at the time but it certainly does now. I was working in finance at the time and became a sole parent by the time she was 6 weeks old. It was then I realised that to raise a child the way I wanted, I was going to have to earn more than I did and find ways to manage my money well.
I worked full time during the day and studied part time at night and in 5.5 years I completed my degree. I then did similar for a further 6 years to complete my CPA. It was a tough grind but I learned a lot along the way, a lot about personal and family finance and a lot about how to create opportunity and move yourself from where you are, to where you want to be.
I have lost, I have won and everything in between. I have figured out that none of the positive things happened in my life by chance. It was focus, determination and action.
I want to help you achieve what I have. I want to engage, encourage and empower you to live an awesome life.
I've poured out everything I have learned throughout my personal life and career to show you the way to financial success, without having to do the grind I did.
I am here for you, cheering you on and wishing you so much joy as you break out of old habits, create new and exciting opportunities and start living the life you have dreamed of!
The Exhale.Nourish program to be released in 2025 is simply for this reason... there is no point having control of your finances if you do not have control of your mind, body and spirit. You need to look after your soul even more than your finances so it goes hand in hand. You must have both and these for the keys to my success and I want to share them with YOU.
Why I Do It
I do this because I know what it’s like to feel trapped—working hard but unable to reach the life I wanted for myself and my daughter. As a young mom, I struggled with debt and frustration, told that “the system” couldn’t help because I didn’t earn enough. That moment lit a fire in me. I knew I had to learn everything I could to take control of my finances and create a future for us.
After years of juggling work, study, and motherhood, I earned my CPA and a deep understanding of finance. I’m here to share those hard-earned lessons to help other women avoid the struggles I faced. My goal is to empower you to build the life you dream of—one that’s financially secure, fulfilling, and truly yours.
